Referring to the work of the sculptors Claude and Francois-Xavier Lallane, Catherine Malandrino was inspired by the color palette of an enchanted domain.
From shades of artichaud, nenuphar, cedar, maples and with new textures of organza foliage, moire taffeta and fragments of broken glass embroieries, nature is brought into human shapes. Nylon scallops rolling after each other and taffeta petal are reminiscent of an alive landscape.
Working around soft curves, the Fall silhouette gives volume to the sleeves and shoulders. Porcelain women wearing mineral jewels are wrapped in quilted coat, boucle cashmere sweater, shaved mink trench coat and leather blouson embroidered with growing vines.
